A word of the Vision

I grew up in Korogwe, surrounded by trees, birds, and a river that was part of everyday life. There was a big Mvule tree at the center of our village. Everything happened there, people met, talked, solved problems, and celebrated.

When I came back years later, it was gone. The tree had been cut down. The river had dried up. The birds were no longer there.

That moment stayed with me.

I started Forest Focus because I didn’t want that loss to continue. For me, this is not just about planting trees. It’s about bringing life back to our land and making sure the next generation can experience what we had.

We are working toward planting 70 million trees by 2035. But more than that, we are building a shared effort, people coming together to protect what matters.

I believe if we take care of nature, it will take care of us.
